The viewers’ expectations for this year's games were high, due to the fact that 33 Georgian sportsmen took part in them. In 7 cities of Georgia an average of 42 thousand viewers per minute watched the opening ceremony of Olympic Games 2020, which is 70% more than the number of viewers of the opening ceremony 2016. Finally, the Georgian Olympians won 8 medals, including 2 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze.

In total, in 7 cities of Georgia, an average of 27 thousand viewers per minute watched Tokyo Olympics and an average of 24 thousand viewers per minute watched Rio De Janeiro Olympics in 2016. An average of 18 thousand male viewers per minute watched The Games in 7 cities of Georgia, which is 100% more than the female viewers of the Olympics.
